The Palóc people nad the people in Šumava - Some features of the narrative world of Karel Klostermann

Abstract

The study focuses on regionalism in literature. We see in the works of Kálmán Mikszáth and Karel Klostermann similiraties and differences in the image of the coexistence of two ethnic groups (Hungarians and Slovaks, Czechs and Germans).

For both authors is characterized the absense of nationalistic prejudices and the connection of human beings and nature.
