Abstract
The article reviews one of the latest attempts to build up the critical theory of the information society, elaborated by prof. Fuchs.
The author confronts the theory with the latest advancements in the field of social theory and the theory of information society to conclude that this attempt has many substantial flaws, which are weakening the whole argument presented in the book.
