Abstract
This study summarizes the findings of a qualitative inquiry into the conflicts and mixtures between cultures of Czech and European civil servants. It focuses on similarities and differences in the economic culture of the Czech and European civil servants and reflects upon the possible scenarios of their future fusion.
Special attention is paid to elements of culture related to corruption and informalism.
