Abstract

The subject of this theoretical study is a culturologic analysis of the work of Jean Baudrillard (1929-2007), a French philosopher, sociologist and theorist, with special focus on interpreting the influence of mass media on people. The main scope of this study is to describe Baudrillard's concept of hyperreality as an autonomous world which significantly contributes to transformation of the present forms of communication, ways of perception, feeling and reality interpretation.
