Abstract
In the paper we try to present a small insight into the Czech Sign Language and on the material of indirect names of Czech Sign Language we focus on the question how czech deafs (i.e. "I" of the czech native users of sign language) conceptualise reality for different "you":on the one hand in intracultural communication (czech deaf community)and on the other in intercultural communication (in communication with members of the major culture). It is defined the nature of indirect naming in Czech Sign Language (among other things, in terms of cultural diversity and the specifity of indirect czech names) and their types are also outlined.This is then bring into the context of code switching/mixing and intercultural understanding mainly in the cases where "I" and "you" are distinguished not only linguistically (spoken language vs. sign language), but also culturally (major culture vs. czech deaf culture).It is emphasized the possibilty of preventing misunderstanding between the representatives of deaf community and representatives of the major hearing Czechs.
