Geomechanical parametres of the Podlesí granites and its relationship to seismic velocities

Abstrakt

We studied the geophysical, physical, and geomechanical parameters of the Podlesí granites in the western part of the Krušné hory Mts., near the village of Potůčky. We have determined P-wave and S-wave velocities, Young's modulus, shear modulus, Poisson's ratio of the studied samples.
