Kingship in Israel from the critical viewpoint of the Deuteronomic texts

Abstrakt

This study was prepared as a biblical and theological contribution to the question of the relationship between Church and State. It offers a critical presentation of the influential biblical tradition that found its expression in the Deuteronomic texts, and through it a critical picture of kingship as an institution in the Bible.
