Abstract
The systematic group of Lamprey had represented in former times much more significant part of our fauna than at the present. That is why this group was noticed and described by former authors, whose descriptions of the attendance and less frequent form of mentioning the lamprey in the old cookerybooks, lexicons and textbooks, left documentary evidence about their occurence.
