Abstract
The work deals with historical as well as contemporary examples of conflicts flowing from constitutional review carried out by courts. In particular it concentrates on the nature of socioeconomic rights, examples of conflicts in European Union and the USA and finally with reference to foreign doctrines also on models of judicial review of socioeconomic rights.
