Abstract
Against the influential conception of ethics as ethics of decision (I. Kant) we try to stress the temporal dimension of ethics.
The consequences cannot be separated from the decision itself and social life sometime requires even unconditional responsibility for the consequences, as e.g. with an aircraft or navy captain. Other important temporary phenomena are connected to it, as repentance and pardon.
