Tiotropium - summary of UPLIFT study results (especially subanalysis of II.stage)

Abstract

This article concerns about summary results of UPLIFT trial. UPLIFT study showed that tiotropium improves multiple end-points in COPD patients (lung functions, exacerbation rate, quality of life and mortality).

In patients with early stage of COPD therapy with tiotropium was associated with significantly reduce of rate of FEV1decline
