Abstract
Analysis of the Czech press reporting on Belarusia and Belarusians and spanning a period between 2000 through 2005. In this context, the press is considered to be one of the sources bringing about awareness and conceptions about this little known eastern Slavic nation.
This image is primarily based on awareness current social-political conditions in Belarusia and it is strongly impacted by the "last European dictator", Alexander Lukashenka.
