Constitutionalizating the European Union: The Lisbon Treaty and the Czech Republic

Abstract

In the year 2000 the Grand Debat about the future of Europe was launched. The debate culminated in the adoption of Lisbon Treaty in 2009.

The Czech Republic aquired the nickname of an unpredicteble partner. The article is analyzing the debate from the Czech point of view.
