Abstract
The work of E. Levinas is based on moral however, Levinas fails to define it.
Therefore, the paper aims to clarify the concept of moral according to nietzsche,who disclosed the nature of moral as being the Will to Power, which is denying itself. Will to Power is the proper name of Being, which is identified with Life: according to this, good and evil are only perspectives of life struggling for more power in the sense of being more than in the former moment.
Thus, the true sense of moral consists of the growth of the sense of power, which is an ontological,not ethical, characteristic.
