Abstract
A five -year - old boy with dry cough and wheezing was admitted for assessment. Over the past two years he has been treated with inhaled corticosteroid for suspected bronchial asthma.
Analysis of the history, lung function test and exhaled nitric oxide measurement revealed psychogenic cough as a cause of respiratory symptoms.
