Abstract
Spontaneous tympanoplasty, developed due to productive - reparative processes in the course of chronic middle ear inflammations, most often with cholesteatoma, adapt the appearance of ecranization or columellization (columella formation) without various possible varieties. In the whole group of patients operated on middle ear for chronic inflammation hey represent about one fourth.
