Anthropometrical examinations and measurement of muscle strength in geriatric patients - continuation focussing on seniors living in a retirement home and the application of anthropometry in nutritional indices and questionnaires

Abstract

We want to present a survey of anthropometrical examinations application as part of nutritional indices and assessments The study presents results comparing anthropometrical measurements (mid-arm circumference, measurement of skin fold above the triceps, dynamometrical examination) in the group of elderly residents living in rest home and geriatric in-patients and young healthy volunteers.
