Abstract
The value of Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) is considered as basic information for the diagnosis of renal impairment. The value calculation is deeply influenced by analytical uncertainty and bias.
For clinical needs these uncertainty should not exceed 10 %.
