The case report (about a patient with some co-morbidity who was operated on for incarcerated umbilical hernia and he was re-operated on during next short time period for thrombosis of a part of small intestine veins with its resection and with small intestine anastomosis) demonstrates, how huge volume of water are hold by an organism at the start of schock and how it is excreted from human body during a recovery phase.
These situations must be resolved by admnistration of high volumes of crystalloids or colloids parenterally according individual need in all cases.
