Abstract
The review concerns the concept of 'quality of life', that is a result of many various factors' interaction. In a simplified way, it can be said that this concept has basically two dimensions, objective and subjective one.
Review is mainly concerned to the subjective aspect of quality of life, particularly to the role of positive emotions.
