Abstrakt
Research College of Erfurt and the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Prague in the Czech capital to jointly discuss the opportunities and problems of the Catholic Church in the face of the Czech Republic and East Germany for diasporas characteristic location and fortgeschrittenden secularization of society. The conference papers approached in different sections of the overarching theme.
A central conclusion of the German participants of the conference was certainly getting to know the specific situation of Czech church, with its strong Prolbematik ecclesiastical nostalgia, ie the difficulty to face as a church of their presence and not retreat into the catacombs.
