Protein metabolism in skeletal muscle, changes in sepsis and possibilities to influence protein breakdown
Abstract
The thesis gives the outline of the authors results during the research on effect of sepsis acidocis, glutamine, growth hormone and cytokines and proteasome inhibitor on protein and amino acid metabolism in isolated skeletal muscle of laboratory rat.
