Abstract
The monograph deals in the origins of the Bohemian state and church from the point of view of genesis of cults of the oldest Bohemian saints who were connected by any way with the dynasty of Přemyslide. There are the duchess Ludmila (d. 921), the duke Wenceslas (d. 935), the princess Mlada (d. after 983), the bishop Adalbert (d. 997), the hermit Guther (d. 1045), the abbot Prokopius (d. 1053) a the abess Agnes (d. 1282).
