The Modernisation of the Czech Protestant Milieu: Case of Free Churches

Abstract

The article analyses birth and consequent development of the so-called free protestant (evangelical) churches, primarily of the re-established Unity of Brethren, the Free Reformed Church, the Adventist and Baptist churches in the Czech lands at the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
