Abstrakt
The origin of the consciousness of belonging to a particular community is connected with the formation of the sense of dissimilarity,specificity,and frequently also exeptionality in relation to other communities. The research in the environment under discussion shows vitality of the knowledge of important historic events, of the moments which played a key role in the history of a particular ethnic community.
The present article is intended to draw attention to the significant moments of forming the community which is called "Czech nation".
