N-terminally truncated WT1 variant (sWT1) is expressed at very low levels in acute myeloid leukemia and advanced phases of chronic myeloid leukemia

Abstract

In our study, we have tested sWT1 expression in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and AML patients. In conclusion, our results demonstrate a low expression level of sWT1 variant in myeloid leukemias, which excluded sWT1 as a suitable marker for monitoring disease state.
