Abstract
This chapter summarizes current recommendations for dental care of patients receiving bisphosphonates with regard to possible side effects of these drugs in the oral cavity - osteonecrosis of the jaw and oropharyngeal erosions and ulceration. The possibilities of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these complications are also presented.
