Abstract
A study on a business of modern publishing of the last three decades of the 19th century. Famous personalities of this process were both Jan Otto, Josef Richard Vilímek sen. and jun., František Topič, and also publishers who starded their careers cooperating with them and carried on their work before the 1st world war.
