Abstract

Drug interactions are a serious cause of toxicity and of adverse effects of all used drugs. Their recognition is often problematic in the context of differential diagnosis.

Pharmacist as a medical professional contributes to the optimization of chronic pharmacotherapy by exerting control over interactive potential of individual drugs and via providing information service focused on drug adverse effects.
