Inhbition of nitric oxide syntase during sepsis: revival because of isoform selectivity?

Abstract

The article, in the form of commentary to the original paper, analysis the current knowledge on the pathophysiological role of nitric oxide overproduction in sepsis, in particular with the respect to different isoforms of nitric oxide synthetase.
