Noninvasive cardiac output estimation based on oxygen consumption during stress test

Abstract

A variety of cardiac output estimators have been developed over past hundred years. The estimator evaluated in this paper is based on oxygen uptake measured during exercise (bicykle ergometry) to estimate cardiac output.

The results in trained athletes and untrained subjects were presented.
