Abstract
The study material could be divided into three elements. In the first unit, school management is formulated as scientific field and specific activity.
The second division describes basic management functions on the level of school direction in context of Czech educational reality. Finally, options of aplication of strategical school management for school image building, school culture creation, project or risk proceedings are described in the third part.
