The documentary film focuses on Christian-based development activities among the mountain ethnic minoritie of southeast Asia. A documentary film Prisoners of a White God has been used for teaching purposes at a number of universities, such as The University of Arisona, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Charles University in Prague, Oberlin College, UC Berkeley and several universities in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
It has also received a number of international awards such as Grand Prix at The Russian Anthropological Film Festival (under the Russian Academy of Science), Special Selection at ASTRA Anthropological Film Festival or at the conference of European Association of Social Anthropologists (EASA).
