Modeling and Evolution of XML schemas

Publication at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
2012

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to provide information about XML data modeling, creating abstract data models so that we can validate documents syntactically, whether they correspond to the schema. Then we can work with the documents as with strongly typed.

Additionally, when publishing XML schema, we can achieve greater standardization in transfer of documents. Modeling of XML schemas is also useful in the necessary transformation of XML documents, if we need to change their structure.

It is convenient to construct a supporting tooling.
