Corporate Culture of Czech a Slovak Firms: Compared to Firms of Other Surveyed Countries

Publication at Faculty of Social Sciences |
2012

Abstract

It deals in particular with the present state of affairs in Czech and Slovak organisations and with a comparison of them with organisations in other countries that participated in the research project. The term "corporate culture" was defined as an intersection of the employees' attitudes to work and working environment and of the established rules of behaviour.

Attitudes to work and working environment were measured by means of the traditional indicators that are usually used in the social climate surveys. That means that they included opinions on a sense of one's work, images of an ideal job and an evaluation of working conditions.
