Abstract
The main theme of the monograph is to discuss the literary hagiography of the Latin West in the Late Antiquity, Early Christian and Medieval times, especially the hagiography of Visigothic Spain. Hagiography is in the publication historiographical conceived as a "discipline", whose purpose is to study the lives of saints and martyrs, which is currently the assistant branch of history.
