Abstract
On 7 May 2012 we would be celebrating the 65th birthday of this composer, record producer, teacher and musicologist, Milan Slavický, who in the last thirty years significantly shaped our musical culture and who created many fruitful links between the worlds of art and science. Nevertheless, Milan Slavický remains most particularly in our minds as a man who managed to civilise the world around him with his modesty, nobility and gentle humour.
The purpose of this exhibition is to bring back in words, pictures and music the richness and diversity of Slavický's work, which despite his premature death remains an inspiration to all who listen to his voice.
