This principle, i.e. taking over the experience and knowledge in education, is significantly used in a growing extent in the present society. For this region the society created in the past decades a special discipline having relevant attributes of the scientific activity - the comparative pedagogy.
The scope and the utilization of this discipline are so wide today and imbued with sociological, economic and political concepts that the given discipline is not very often connected with pedagogy in its typical, narrow interpretation. Here, there is simply a certain discovering analytical and evaluating activity which through its infrastructure, institutions and products is most trenchantly called the international comparison of education or education systems (international comparative education) and which is of the interdisciplinary character
