The author of the article focuses on the process of establishing of Jewish Religious Associations in Friedek-Mistek and Friedland a. O., thus in that localities, where Jews were allowed do reside only exceptionally, before 1848.
The author pays attention for the process of Jewish migration to the Region of Friedek and Mistek, for the establishing of Jewish institutions, synagogue, Jewish school and cemetery and he also deal with the controversy between the older generation of the founders of the Accociations and the younger generation of new Jewish immigrants. Not at last, the author focuses on limits of Jewish religious associations and on the interaction between newly established Jewish community and the rest of the population.
