Direct Voltammetric Determination of Aclonifen in Natural Waters at a Silver Solid Amalgam Electrode

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2012

Abstract

A method for the SPE extraction and determination of Aclonifen in drinking water and Vltava river water by differential pulse voltammetry on a meniscus modified silver solid amalgam electrode is described. SPE preconcentration from 100 mL to 10 mL, 1 L to 10 mL and 1 L to 1 mL has been used.

All measured calibration dependencies are linear. The detection limit for the determination of AC in Vltava river water is 2.10-9 mol L-1.

Lower concentrations could not be determined due to unknown interfering substances. The detection limit for the determination of AC in drinking water is 2.10-10 mol L-1.

SPE followed DPV AgSAE is therefore a suitable method for determining trace amounts of Aclonifen in environmental waters.
