The publication is based on tasks from physics, chemistry, biology and Earth science that the teachers can use for problem solving in classes as well as for preparation of tests or to adjust the teaching to individual needs of their students. All tasks are completed by detailed solutions and comments including information about typical misconceptions and most frequented problems.
The detailed analysis of the results of Czech students at PISA 2009 with emphasis on mistakes in specific tasks composes the first part of the publication.
