Subfossil chironomids reveal the paleoclimate: is modeling enough?

Abstract

The Holocene and Late Glacial mean July temperature has been inferred from subfossil chironomid assemblages at the Plešné lake using two different transfer functions (Swiss Alps model and Canadian model).
