Abstract
The author examines through the archival materials and oral history notes the situation of the Bratislava Jewish community after the Holocaust. The first chapter deals with the general situation in 1945, in the second chapter presents events in the Jewish community.
The third chapter focuses on the phenomenon of emigration, the main emphasis is on Aliyah, leaving in Palestine / Israel. The final part is devoted to the community since 1989.
