The parish church as a stage of eucharistic devotion and feast liturgical practices: The cases of Znojmo and Kranj

Abstract

The paper deals with furnishings and iconography of medieval church interior from the perspective of liturgical service and activities of religious fraternities (Corpus Christi fraternities). It refers especially to preserved traces of feast liturgical performances.

It compares analogical situations in main parish churches of two towns in South Moravia and Upper Carniola (West of today's Slovenia).
