The dialects of Bavaria as a subject of technical language teaching within German philology abroad. Approach to an institutionally conveyed competence inunderstanding regional language varieties in the Czech Republic

Abstract

The article describes the fundamental idea, aim and structure of the course of studies 'German as a technical language with regional focus' as an additional training set up at the pedagogical faculty of Masaryk university in Brno and gives an outlook on further perspectives of development.
