Abstract
In the present paper the authors deal with one of the most common type of head and neck cancer - squamous cell carcinoma of the lip. The current knowledge of this malignant disease and also the statistical evaluation of 72 patients with these tumors diagnosed, treated and followed up at the Dental Clinic, University Hospital and Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen in the period 2002-2008 is reported.
