Abstract
Brief monographic study focuses on the problem of the current international investment law, as new specialized sector, the general international law. In each of the thematic chapters (the sources of international investment law, interpretation of contractual obligations, standards of treatment to investments and responsibility) shows that although the right to form an investment lex specialis, yet it in many ways and apply the rules of general international law.
