Abstract
The article deals with the interpretation of the region's obligations to provide social services under the provisions of § 93 point. a) of the Act on Social Services. Specifically, the problem is how to interpret the scope of the region, if only to work with social service providers, or whether a county may use means of coercion, such as in the case of failure to provide social services for the elderly.
