Abstract
The contribution introduces geocaching as a relatively new leisure activity. Geocaching is evaluated especially in relation to tourism and leisure trends.
The study provides a qualitative assessment of geocaching and spatial distribution within Czechia. Furthermore, the paper deals with the possibilities to influence tourist potential of the area through geocaching and also evalutes the limits and restrictions of this activity.
