Abstract
The murder of the Dutch populist shocked the public by its purposeful cruelty. A closer look can discover yet another problem, namely van Gogh's effort to insult the Moslems at the most sensible spot.
If the Amsterdam Mayor publicly proclaims that freedom of speech incluides the freedom to hurt, there is a problem on the "European" side of the conflict too.
